Spring 2017 Season 

Registration is now closed.  Games start February 25th.

Please follow the registration steps below and FIRST REGISTER ONLINE.

Practices for Spring Season start as early as the week of February 6th! 
Teams are being formed and the upper division draft is the last week of January. 
Your child's coach should be in contact with you by the end of January.

1.     Go to http://www.eayso.org and select Sign Up for Other Programs if you are a returning player. If you are a new player, please register as a new player. Print and sign your child's player form (1 copy).
2.     Parent volunteer form is only necessary if you did NOT volunteer in Fall 2016 and if you are volunteering for a referee or coach position.

3.     Enclose Registration Fee  – One check per child, checks covering multiple players will be returned.

4.     Checks will be cashed, if not placed on a team, will receive a full refund.

5.     Failure to provide all documentation will result in your registration being returned.

Registration deadline for on time is “POSTMARK” no later than 12/15/16. Please allow time for post office to process.

1. Forms postmarked AFTER 12/15/16 will be placed on teams on a space available basis. This pertains to everyone, including Extra players. Extra players must turn in forms on-time and will not be given priority consideration for team placement if late.  Registered returning Extra players are not automatically guaranteed to play Spring.

6. Not everyone who registers for Spring will be chosen. 
7. Players who were registered and played 50% or more of the games during the Fall 2016 season in U5-U19 in Region 630 are eligible for our Spring season. 
8. Players that didn’t play in the Fall 2016 may register, however there is an additional $25.00 charge and are placed AFTER all Fall 2016 players are placed if space is available.

The U7/8 Division MAY play games on weekdays and Sundays.

Refund requests for the Spring season must be submitted in writing.  Please see our Refund Policy for deadlines and the electronic refund form.  Refunds will be issued after 2/28/2017 to players that meet the deadlines.  Players that drop after will not receive a refund. You must submit the refund form electronically. Drop notices and refund requests submitted to coaches/referees/board members or refund requests dated after 1/31/2017 will not be honored and fees not refunded.

12. Players not placed on a team by the Region will be refunded their fees after 2/28/2017. 
14. Children of volunteers that donated a substantial amount of their time to AYSO in the Fall 2016 season will be given first priority when forming teams.
15. Next priority will go to children of volunteers who have committed to a specific volunteer position for the Spring 2016 season. 
16. Priority is not a guarantee of team placement, but it means that all priority players are selected first. 
17. An inability to perform the Spring volunteer commitment may have an impact on player acceptance for the current or future Spring seasons.

19. Saturday and Sunday availability to play games is a requirement during the Spring season. The season begins in February and lasts through early May, but could extend through June if teams go to tournaments. Players that are not available on both Saturday and Sunday or have other conflicts (other Sports/activities) significantly impact the team.  If you expect to have conflicts with this policy, it is best to take that into consideration when making the decision to register. Some games require travel outside of Rancho Santa Margarita and possibly outside of Orange County. Selection depends on parent volunteer commitments and available resources such as coaches and field space.
