Metro FC goal safety policy:
1) Metro FC Staff Coaches will not use goals that are not properly staked down at any of our game and training facilities. If a staff coach comes across a goal that is not sufficiently staked down, they must notify Metro FC President Mike Franklin at [email protected] . Mike will work closely with the Kettering Parks Department to make sure that adequate stakes are provided for each goal.
2) Metro FC Staff Coaches will not use goals that are broken and/or damaged. If a Metro Staff Coach comes across a broken or damaged goal at any of our game or training facilities, they will need to turn the goalĀ over so it cannot be used and cannot be of danger to anyone.
3) Goals at Delco Park are not to be moved.
4) Goals at training facilities that can be moved must also be staked down properly and returned to their original spot when finished with. Players shouldn't move the heavy goals under any circumstances. Coaches should use available adults to help when needed.
Goal safety is a very important issue. Players can be seriously injured or even killed when goals are not properly secured or are used when damaged or broken. Metro FC Staff will follow the above policy in regards to goal safety.
