2025 Fall Tournament Rules

Pool Play Dates: Monday November 3 - Thursday November 6

Bracket Play - Saturday November 8

Format: 2 Seeding Games & Single Elimination Bracket Play

*Please be prepared to play at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled start times*

  • All Age Groups will follow Age Specific FCBA Rules (rules located on website)

  • Coaches MUST provide a written line up to the Other Team AS WELL AS the UMPIRES.

  • Pool Play Games can end in a tie. In Bracket Play games, IF a game is tied after the time limit has expired or all regulation innings have been played, whichever comes first, the International tie-breaker will be utilized by placing the last batted out on 2nd base to start the inning with no outs.

  • If we have a forfeit then the team forfeiting will get scored 0 and the other team will get the win and have a max run for their score depending on age group (5 - 7 max)

  • Bracket Play will be Seeded as follows:

  • 1. Least Runs Allowed,

  •  2. Run Differential (5-7-Run Max, depending on age group)

  •  3. Most Runs Scored (10-Runs Max) and

  •  4. Coin Toss.

  • Points of Emphasis

  • Headfirst slides are not allowed with a C-flap or cage.

  • Faking a bunt and pulling back to swing is not allowed in any age group.

  • An ejection will result in removal from the current game, and an additional one game suspension.

  • All Players need to be properly equipped at the start of the game. Meaning all catchers 8U and up MUST wear a cup, if a player is found in violation, they will be removed from the catchers position for the remainder of the game. If no other player is available and properly “equipped” then the team shall forfeit the game.

Pitching: All FCBA Tournaments will follow the Pitch Smart guidelines

  • 8u will be Kid Pitch during tournament play. We will have pitch counters for monitoring pitch counts of kids and coaches. All other age groups will follow the chart below.

  • If a team is playing two games or more in one day, a player can only pitch in both games if he has not thrown more than 20 pitches in the first game. If a player does pitch in both games, the player’s required rest will be determined by the total number of pitches of both games. No one may pitch three consecutive games or three consecutive days.

  • If a pitcher reaches the limit for his/her league age while facing a batter, the pitcher may continue to pitch until one of the following occurs:

    • 1. Batter reaches base

    • 2. Batter is put out

    • 3. Third out is recorded.

      • The pitcher’s pitch count will revert to the lower threshold with respect to day’s rest.

  • If a pitcher pitches consecutive days, the cumulative number of pitches will be his pitch count. For example, if a pitcher pitches 15 pitches on Friday and 19 pitches during the first game on Saturday, his pitch count is now 34 pitches. Therefore, that pitcher cannot pitch the second game on Saturday or any games on Sunday.

  • A day of rest is a calendar day off.
