BASA Basics

We are excited to offer an instructional program designed to introduce three and four year old players (birth year 2018) to the game in a fun, non-competitive environment. As such, this program will start to build player’s confidence in the basic skills of the game in a non-threatening environment.

BASA Basics will be six, 45 minute sessions conducted on Friday evenings. Players will be taught the basic rules and skills of soccer, such as using their feet to move the ball, stopping at a referee’s whistle, and the direction of play.

‣ Players will be provided a BASA Basics shirt which will be used each week.
‣ Shin guards, a size 3 ball, and athletic shoes (soccer shoes are recommended) are required for all sessions.
‣ Instruction will be lead by BASA players, coaches, and other volunteers—parents are welcome to register to volunteer with proper clearances required.

When: April - June 2022
