FGSA offers two opportunities during the fall season:
1. Fall Ball League Play
Fall Ball is generally for returning and rising Fury players who wish to extend their travel seasons while having fun playing softball. FGSA is able to register teams with local fall ball leagues (BGSA, Twin Valley League, Bristol Plymouth League) to compete against other town travel teams from September through mid-October. We can create teams at 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U, depending on player interest levels each season. Games are typically once a week on Saturdays with a league play schedule followed by playoffs. Teams are typically created by mid-August.
2. FGSA Skills & Scrimmage Program
FGSA offers softball each fall for girls in grades Pre-K through 6th. This is a town program which will consist of skill development and scrimmages. Perfect for returning players as well as ones new to the sport!
Registration typically opens in August for this program, and you can register for the fall season here on our website, using the Register button in the top right corner. This program typically runs from mid-September through the end of October, but is somewhat weather dependent.
2022 Fall Ball Season
For the 2022 Fall Ball season, our eight week Fall 2022 Rec Skills and Scrimmage Program will take place Sunday, September 11th through Sunday, October 30th. We have something for everyone, from Pre-K through Grade 8:
Pre-K through 2nd grade:
Sundays, 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Pisani 1 and 2. The cost for this eight week program is $40.
For this age group, there will be approximately one hour of station drills followed by a 30 minute scrimmage.
3rd - 5th grade:
Sundays, 1 - 3 p.m. at Pisani 1 and 2. The cost for this eight week program is $40.
For this age group, there will be approximately 75 minutes of station drills followed by a 45 minute scrimmage.
Grade 6-8 Weekly Pick-up Scrimmages:
Sunday, September 11th - Sunday, October 30th, 4-5:30 p.m at Pisani 2.
For this age group, there will be a coached scrimmage.
We’re asking interested families of players in grades 6-8 to sign up using the link below to indicate that your daughter would be interested in participating in this fall program opportunity. If you can’t make it every Sunday, that’s okay. This is a drop-in program.

Coming Soon - Pitching Clinics, and Pitchers & Catchers Open Practice Time!
FGSA will also be offering a Sunday pitching clinic for players in grades 2-5 and open practice time for all pitchers & catchers. Details coming soon!

FGSA provides girls ages 4 to 18 with instruction, competition, and fun playing fastpitch softball.
