High School & Junior High Basketball League (Grades 7-12)
REGISTRATION: Open 8/6/2024 until full. Space is limited. Late registrants are not guaranteed a spot on a team.
EVALUATIONS: Wed 8/21, 6:30-7:30 PM
SEASON DATES: 8/26/2024 - 10/9/2024
SCHEDULE: Monday & Wednesday evenings for practices and games. Teams play twice per week. All registered players welcome to attend Friday evening open gyms for extra practice. NO SATURDAYS!
LOCATION: ALL GAMES AND PRACTICES TAKE PLACE IN PETALUMA at the Lucchesi Park Clubhouse (203 Maria Drive).
LEVEL: This is a recreational league. Players of all levels of experience are welcome to play.
GENDER: Co-Ed
TEAM FORMATION: In an effort to make teams as fair as possible, teams are formed by evaluation and draft. Evaluations will take place the evening of Wednesday, August 21. Buddy and coach requests are not honored at this level. Coaches will automatically have their own children on their roster. Head coaches may declare up to two assistant coaches whose children will also automatically be placed on their roster.

K-2 Basketball Clinics (Kindergarten-2nd Grade)
DESCRIPTION: A perfect introduction to basketball! We play on lowered hoops with basketballs that are just the right size for ages 5-7. A great way for players to work on their basketball skills before playing in our Fall Season K-2 Basketball League. Please note that our K-2 Clinics are a different program from our K-2 League. Players in the clinics play twice per week (Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs) on a consistent schedule for three weeks. There are no teams, uniforms, games, or Saturdays involved in the clinics - clinics are practices only.
REGISTRATION: Open 8/5/2024 until full. Space is limited to 20 players per clinic.
SCHEDULE: Monday/Wednesday OR Tuesday/Thursday, 5:00-6:00 PM.
LOCATION: Lucchesi Park Clubhouse in Petaluma
LEVEL: All skill levels welcome, including beginners.

K-2 BASKETBALL LEAGUE (kindergarten - 2nd grade)
DESCRIPTION: Join us for our popular K-2 basketball league! Players in kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade will be placed on grade level teams and will play twice per week throughout the season. Each team will have one weekday evening practice and one Saturday practice or game throughout the season. For the last two weeks of the season (after Thanksgiving break), teams play two games per week. All teams are coached by quality volunteers who must be vetted by BGC prior to interacting with players in the gym.
DIVISIONS: TK/Kinder, 1st Grade, & 2nd Grade.
REGISTRATION: Open 8/5/2024 until full.
SEASON DATES: 10/14/2024 - 12/14/2024 LOCATION: All games and practices take place in Petaluma at Lucchesi Park Clubhouse and Cavanagh Recreation Center.
LEVEL: All skill levels welcome, including beginners.

Girls Basketball Clinic (Grade 3-6)
DESCRIPTION: This clinic provides an opportunity for players to work on their basketball skills in a supportive setting with other girls who love playing basketball! Our girls basketball clinic is a great way for players to build their confidence and basketball IQ to get ready to participate in our co-ed winter basketball league.
REGISTRATION: Open 8/5/2024 until full. Space is limited to 20 players.
SCHEDULE: Monday 7:00-8:00 PM
LOCATION: Lucchesi Park Clubhouse in Petaluma
LEVEL: All skill levels welcome, including beginners.
GENDER: Girls only

VETERAN'S DAY: 11/11 clinic rescheduled for Wed 11/13.
