The Oak Cliff Soccer Association (OCSA) is a sanctioned league with the North Texas State Soccer Association, an affiliate of US Youth Soccer. OCSA organizes its recreational league to emphasize the enjoyment and development of the soccer player. The purpose of recreational soccer is to provide an opportunity for the participants to have fun, learn the sport and develop life skills including a life long love of the game. With that in mind, OCSA uses a player pool method to assign new players to teams and considers factors such as the school they attend, zip code in which they reside and other factors. OCSA does not assign players based upon their abilities and skills.
