2021 REGISTRATION

Welcome to Kalama Little League!

We offer baseball programs for boys and girls ages 4-14 and softball programs for girls ages 6-14.  We are excited for another season of baseball and softball in 2021.

OVERVIEW

Before beginning the registration process please read the following:

1.   The Baseball/Softball Division pages provide a description of our baseball and softball divisions  (Registration>Divisions>Baseball/Softball)

2.   Players will be placed in a division based on his or her “League Age” as calculated according to Little League age policy.  Please see our League Age page for more information (Registration>Age Requirements)

3.   Little League REQUIRES players to live in a geographically based area or go to school within the League’s boundary area.  They now require three separate proof of residency documents OR the completion of a School Enrollment Form.  This can be uploaded online.  Please go to our Residency Requirements page for more information and access to the form (Registration>Residency Requirements).  We cannot remove this requirement… we tried.  You won't be required to do this every year, unless you move.

4.   Your player’s state issued birth certificate must also be uploaded at the time of registration.

5.   All baseball and softball players registered for Minors, Majors and Junior divisions are REQUIRED to attend a Skills Assessment Day session.  These are not tryouts; each player who signs up will be placed on a team.  This is an ability to assess each player’s skills to ensure competitive balance and safety.  Please see our Skill Assessment page for more information (Registration>Skills Assessment)

FINANCIAL AID

Kalama Little League is committed to providing a program that allows every child to play baseball or softball. We strive to offer an affordable program for our players and families while maintaining the financial health and sustainability of the league.

A limited number of scholarships are available based on the league's annual budget, community sponsorships received, and the overall number of registrations. Because financial aid funds are limited, scholarship applicants must meet certain financial criteria. Applicants may be asked to provide additional information to prove the player is eligible for a scholarship. Please do not ask for a scholarship if you have the ability to pay. This application is entirely confidential and will only be viewed by the league president, player agent, and treasurer.

Please contact the league president at [email protected] to apply for financial aid.  Please include an explanation in this e-mail.
