2024 Summer Baseball

Eagle Sports Club Summer Baseball is for boys & girls 4 - 14 years old. Practices will begin the week of May 27th with the first games being played on Saturday, June 8th. The season for T-ball, coach pitch and kid/coach pitch and 14 and under pick up baseball will end on Saturday, July 20th. The 10u, 12u and 14u divisions may play into August. Schedules are still TBD.

The Detroit Tigers will be joining us for our opening day on Saturday June 8th to celebrate the start of our season! In addition, the Tigers will be handing out tickets to all our players for the Tigers next game against the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday, June 9th.

Games will be played at Balduck Park in Detroit.

$5 discount if registered by April 30th. Registration will close on Sunday, May 12th.

All teams will have at least one weeknight practice at Balduck. ESC determines exact date & time for team practices.

Approximate Games/Practices Schedule:

PRACTICES:

Determined by the coach, but most practices begin at or after 6pm. T-ball teams practice one night a week while all other teams practice two nights a week. If there is a specific day that doesn’t work for you to practice, please put that day on the registration.

Division and Info:

T-Ball (4-5 yr. olds) - Games are Saturdays @ 10am and one weeknight team practice.

Coach Pitch (6-8 yr. olds) - Games are Saturdays @ Noon. Coach Pitch teams will also play additional games during the week later in the season. These games will try to be scheduled to replace one of the weeknight practices so later in the season teams are playing two games a week and only having one practice.

Kid Pitch / Coach Pitch (Ages 7-10) - Practices two nights a week, games TBD

10u Competitive (Ages 8-10) - Practices two nights a week, games TBD

12u Competitive (Ages 11-12) - Practices at least two nights a week, games TBD and all over the city

14u Competitive (Ages 13-14) - Practices at least two nights a week, games TBD and all over the city

Pick up Baseball (Ages 11-14) - This division is for kids ages 11-14 who don't have a lot of baseball experience or who don't want the commitment of travel, competitive baseball. We will play once or twice a week with a skills type practice. Everyone will be given a full uniform and will be fun!
