Chicagoland Sunday League info The Chicagoland Sunday league is a part-time travel league for in house players only, no full-time travel players are allowed to participate in this league. The league was created to provide in house players the opportunity to play 10+ extra games mainly on Sunday’s at a higher competitive level against other towns during the regular season. 5 games will be played on the team’s home field and the rest in other towns within the Chicagoland area. It’s a great way to help players continue to develop their baseball skills.
Participating age groups in CSL: 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U & 14U. A player’s age in the league is based on their age on April 30th 2015. CSL season: season begins April 19th - June 21st
How are players selected: All players must currently be on a BYBL in house team. All players must attend a tryout in order to be considered for team. Selected players will not be allowed to participate in any Sunday League practices or games until all CSL registration fees are paid.
Registration cost: $150 per player
What’s included:
- Hat, socks & custom CSL jersey.
- Participation in the CSL Memorial day tournament or a tournament of the team’s choice.
- 10+ games , 5 home games and the rest against other towns within the Chicagoland area
- Opportunity to play baseball at a higher competitive level
