Multiple Ball Scrimmage*: Multiple Ball Scrimmage: Is a modified scrimmage format that is designed to maximize player participation. The general principles of a scrimmage remain the same. Players are divided into two teams who play from end to end as normal. The significant difference is the use of multiple balls on the field. This approach naturally encourages players to move away from the "bunching" and "crowding" around a single ball and promotes individual success, which is key to the development of players at the younger ages. Coaches and parents help to control the environment by preventing the ball from going out of bounds and assisting with the rotation of balls. We are confident that this version of the game will increase the opportunity for engagement and provide a more positive and successful experience for each player.
