Henlopen Soccer Club Fee Structure

1)  If a player is selected and agrees to play for a select/travel team, the expectation is that the player is committing to play for both the fall and                  spring seasons.  This is an annual commitment.  

2) Tuition is $600.00 per player for the year. A deposit of $85 or full payment of $600 is due by July 1.  If a family chooses to pay installment                    payments, there will be fee of $10.00 added to total tuition. Payments of $75 are due on 10th tof each month as follows
     August 10th 2015, September 10th, October 10th, November 10th , January 10th,h2016, February 10th, and the last payment of $75
     on March 10, 2016.

                        Tuition includes:

•      Registration

•      League fees

•      Referee fees

•      practice twice a week (Wednesday & Friday) August to November and March to June - 1 time per season training with Technical Director

•      Coaching fees

•      Goalie training

•      Technical Director

•      Director of Coaching

3) Players are responsible for the cost of his/her uniform, training jersey & training ball

4)   The select/travel teams also participate in several tournaments throughout each season.  Each team is responsible for paying for the                  tournament registration fee as well as covering the cost of the coach’s hotel room (if the tournament location requires an overnight hotel           stay).  Each tournament’s registration fee can range from $450 to over $1000 for a team.  Generally, the higher fees are associated with the older age teams. HSC pays these costs initially and the players reimburse the club. Each player’s portion of tournament fees for
a season can range from $375 to $750 for a season. Tournament fees will be added to each player's account at the time the tournament is scheduled for the team.  You will receive an email informing you of the account adjustment.

5)    The select/travel teams play in league games throughout each season. For the U8-U12 teams these games are generally on Sundays.            For U13-U18 teams, the games can be on either Saturdays or Sundays.  Half of the games are “home” games and will be played at  the HSC fields at HOB Elementary School.  The other half of the games are “away” games and the team will play at the opposition’s home field. 

6)   Some scholarship opportunities are available based on need.  Scholarship funds are limited and are based on the greatest need first.

7)   By June 9, 2015, the club will send an email to the player/parents communicating the results of the tryout.  The results will also be posted         on our website according to the tryout number.  If a player is invited to play on a select/travel team the player/parents then must respond
      by email with an acceptance or denial of the invitation by June 12, 2015.

8)    If the player/parent does not receive an e-mail by June 9, please contact Henlopen Soccer Club.  Contact information is listed below and on our website.

9)  If a player cannot attend any tryout session, but would like to play for a select/travel team, you MUST contact our Technical Director or              Director of Coaching.

10)  Prior to the start of the select/travel season each team will have a mandatory meeting for players, parents & coaches.

Team Structure

1)    All representative teams from U-8 to U-12 years old will be classified as follows:  These classifications apply when there is more than one          team in an age group.

            Academy – maximum number of players 14 – HSC expectations are 12 players per team 

            Elite – maximum number of players 14 – HSC expectations are 12 players per team

            Premiere – maximum number of players 14 – HSC expectations are 12 players per team

2)   Jersey numbers will be assigned through a lottery.  The numbers for all teams in one age group will range from #1 to #42.  A player may            submit a request for a particular number, but the club will ultimately assign numbers to all players.
