Lifeguard Training FAQ

What does the cost of the class include? Online access, in water portion of the class and a Sweetwater Uniform (2 shirts, whistle, hip pack and a pocket mask.

Do I have to complete the online portion of the class before attending the in water portion of the class? YES!!! The online portion must be completed before midnight the day before your class.

What do I do after I complete my online class? You need to email your test results to Kirby Fouser at [email protected]

What happens if I do not finish my online portion in time?  You will have to pay $50 to transfer to new class.

What do I need to bring to class? Please make sure you have a bathing suit, towel, StarGuard book, lunch and change of clothes. ***One piece bathing suits or a two-piece lifeguard suit is recommend but not required. No binkins.

How do I sign up for a class? You can sign up on our website iLifeguard.net under “GET CERTIFIED” http://ilifeguard.net/atlanta-lifeguard/training/

Where are the classes located? Mercer University - Atlanta Campus in the Sheffield Student Center. What time are the classes? 9:00am-6:00pm

Do I have to attend both days (Saturday & Sunday) of the same weekend? YES!! A new class is Saturday and Sunday and you must attend both days of the class you registrated for.
