Team Selection

Typically teams are separated by grade and each grade will have one team. There are no tryouts held.

Game Information

Each team typically plays 10 regular season games in Cincinnati Western Baseball Conference league. CWBC games are held during the week and on Saturdays. These games are scheduled between the coaches of both teams and need to be completed before a certain time during the season to count towards the end of season tournament.

Practices

Practices vary by coach but you can expect typically two practices each week. Practices may be held Monday thru Saturday. Practices may start as early as 4pm and end as late as 8pm. Practices are held at the fields chosen by the coach.

Coaching

The archdiocese requires 2 adults to be at every practice. Therefore, we attempt to place 2 coaches per team. The SBAA asks for volunteers from our parent community, the parish community, alumni, etc… Every attempt is made to get the best coaches for every team.
