DYSA Players volunteer at Safety Town

DYSA athletes Savannah Seiter, Sara Downs, Martina Pansze and Sarah Waller help out at Safety Town. This is a program put on every summer for  kids aged 4 to 7 that teaches them about all forms of safety.  It is two weeks long, Monday through Friday from 8 to 12. They talk about safety from stranger danger to gun safety and everything in between.  Safety Town covers three topics per day.  They have a mock town in the parking lot of Needham and the kids drive little cars and learn all the safety rules of the road. Safety Town is sponsored by the Elks Club with donations from other businesses.
