Durango, CO - On Saturday, November 13, the Durango United U16 (coach Becky Eisenbraun) and U18 girls (coach Kate Stahlin) volunteered at the La Plata County Humane Society Animal Shelter. The girls split into four groups. One group worked outside picking up trash and dog waste, another deep cleaned the board room, and the other two groups cleaned the cat and kitten holding areas. The Humane Society was very appreciative of the girls work and the girls had a great time helping out, being around the animals and each other.
