The U12G Grass Stains participated in the community service project this Fall, Winter and Spring and only stopped when soccer season began!! It was very rewarding for the girls. They made great friendships with the patients and I know the patients really appreciated their time.
“ABUELOS” --- a community service project at Four Corners Health Care “Abuelos” is Spanish for “Grandparents” and encourages students to reach out to the elderly. During the school year, it is held each Tuesday afternoon after school until 5:15 p.m. You can expect to do weekly crafts with the residents, enjoy snacks, and always have a great time!
Helping at the Four Corners Nursing Home was a very good experience for me. I was able to do arts and crafts with the elderly people, which put giant smiles on their faces. I also had fun passing out pizza and water while talking to them to keep them company. The elderly people helped me learn to be serving and positive to others. I really enjoyed the nursing home and giving to our community. I look forward to doing it again sometime in my life! --

I had a great time at Four Corners, especially with my new friend Maria! She would always teach me, Alli and Lane Spanish. It was the best community service and I can't wait to go back!! --
