U18G get involved with Annie's Orphans

October 29, 2011 - Durango, Colo - The Durango Youth Soccer Association U18 girls, coached by Kate Stahlin, volunteered at Annie's Orphans No-Kill Shelter. The team got involved with the shelter as part of the DYSA and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory G.O.A.L (Go Out And Lead) program. The girls helped the shelter prepare the kennels for winter by removing the old hay from the dog kennels, vacumming up the dust and cobwebs, and then placing new hay in the dog houses. The girls proved to be great workers and were a big help to the shelter.

Annie's Orphans is a non-profit  all volunteer organization, Annie's can not run the facility without the help of the community. They need help with everything from volunteers that can assist with building and carpentry to those who just want to come out to walk and love on dogs.
