Durango, CO - October 15, 2011 - As part of the Go Out And Lead (G.O.A.L.) program the Durango Youth Soccer Association U12 Girls Colorado Cleats put together a collection for the animals and employees of the La Plata County Humane Society. The girls collected donations of dog and cat treats and food as well as office supplies for the staff. All together, they donated about $400 in supplies, food and treats to the LPCHS. The Cleats took their stash to the Humane Society to present their donations. While there, they gave much needed love and attention to the animals.

It was a successful project and the staff at the Humane Society was very appreciative of their effort. The girls all felt good about their donations and were proud to support a local cause.
