One sport helping out another sport in the name of community spirit

September 28, 2013 - Durango, CO - As part of the Durango Youth Soccer Association and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory G.O.A.L. (Go Out And Lead) program the U13 girls Diablos, coached by Jacob Schmoker, gave their only free Saturday to help the 2nd and 4th Grade Demon's Football team. Every YAFL Demon football team parent is responsible for manning the concession stands, gate entry fee, and chains/downs for home games. When the Diablos learned the YAFL parents were coming up short, they decided to offer their assistance. Almost every Diablo attended and four of the 16 girls helped out from 7:45 am to 5:00 pm.
