What For the past eight years A5 Volleyball Club has hosted the Southern Volleyball Showcase in early December a recruiting combine that typically attracts 400 to 450 athletes and 100 to 125 college coaches.
The High Academic Showcase is smaller and focused exclusively on matching colleges and universities with high academic standards with prospective student athletes with the grades and scores necessary to secure admission and thrive in such an environment. Last year in its third year the Showcase drew over 100 players as well as over 40 coaches.
Who Uncommitted athletes that are in 9th to 12th grade this year and who meet the events academic guidelines. We are looking for GPA's of 3.5 or higher ACT's of 25 or higher or SAT/PSAT scores of 1100 and up (math & verbal total)
NOTE that these are just guidelines and not hard and fast rules. When Saturday, June 8, 2019. There are two waves available.
9:00am - 12noon(AM wave) and
1:00pm to 4:00pm(PM wave).
Players only participate in one wave. We ask that athletes arrive 30 minutes early to sign in stretch and warm up.
