San Carlos AYSO Goalkeeper Clinic - Update - Please Read!
Due to the cancellation of the Knickerbocker-Masters Tournament this weekend, we are CANCELLING tonight's Keeper Clinic for the 10UB.
The Clinic is not a vigorous activity and is only nominally a physical activity - it is more for the educational aspect of learning what to do, or how to coach, the keeper position. Also, we are not able to reschedule it to a different day this season due to field limitations we have here in San Carlos. As such, we plan on going forward with the clinic on Sunday. We want to emphasize this is an entirely optional activity and if you do not feel comfortable having your child attend, please keep them home.
We are still presenting the Keeper Clinic on Sunday (10.15.17), now for everyone, at HIGHLANDS, as follows:
When is the clinic?
- Session for 10U Boys and Girls & 12U Boys and Girls is SUNDAY, October 15, from 9:00 am to 10:30 at Highland Park
- Session for 14U and older is SUNDAY, October 15, from 10:30 am to Noon at Highland Park
Please come 10 minutes early for your session so you get the benefit of the entire program.
What do I do to attend? You should be an AYSO player on a team this season to attend. No sign up or registration is necessary – just show up and be ready to learn and have some fun. Come ready to lightly train on some techniques, including wearing cleats and shin guards. If you have keeper gloves, bring them (but gloves are not required)! Please bring a ball and do not forget your water, especially if it is hot!
