Hello members of Henlopen Soccer Club.

As you may have seen in the news lately, the issue of Sussex County providing funding for the proposed Sussex Sports Complex is coming before the County Council. The Club is anticipating being able to utilize the soccer fields at the complex as a long term home for both our rec and select programs. These are to be high quality grass fields. The Sussex Sports Complex is important to Henlopen Soccer Club and we are asking for your help.

Henlopen Soccer Club is asking all of its members to please show your support of this project. The County Council is accepting public comment through the month of October. The Council is holding meetings on the next 3 Tuesdays (10/10, 10/17, 10/24) at 10:00 am in the Council Chambers in Georgetown. (2 The Circle, Georgetown) If you are able, please plan to attend 1 of these meetings and speak during the public comment. You simply need to sign in and have a seat and wait to be called. Each person is given up to 3 minutes to speak.

If you are unable to attend a meeting, you can also show your support by writing a letter or an email to the Council. Letters can be mailed to:
