Although DCBA is a recreational league focused on all skill levels, we do try to grow and support higher-level players.

DCBA Sunday Select teams are known as the Crusaders (baseball) and Valkyries (Softball).

Sunday Select is an optional program provided by DCBA for those players wanting to compete at a higher level of play or obtain advanced additional instruction, without the cost of a travel organization.  Sunday Select teams play other leagues' Select teams and local travel teams on Sundays during the regular season and tournaments in the summer and fall.

Try-outs are required for all Sunday Select teams and are held earlier in the pre-season than the recreational league showcase and held again prior to the fall.

All-Star teams are formed at the end of the Spring season for all those that displayed and performed at exemplary levels throughout the rec season.  DCBA's All-Star teams represent Deep Creek on the PONY post-season tournament trails.
