Parks and Trails Levy!

The Parks & Trail Levy renewal PASSED!

Thank you for your support and for voting!!

MUSC is once again included in this wonderful opportunity for Monongalia County, and our Cheat Lake and Laurel Point fields are going to benefit greatly over the next 4 years!

This levy is for 4 years (which helps it line up with the presidential election cycle), and will greatly help us with field maintenance and facility improvements. This covers things like replacing old goals, replacing nets on goals, fertilizing the fields, bring in more dirt to fill in potholes, and improving the roads at LP, and the parking situation at Cheat Lake.

Our first purchase will be a 25' trailer to allow us to move our tractor, overseeder, and aerator between our Cheat Lake and Laurel Point fields.

We are also looking at ways to improve our mowing efficiency (exciting stuff!)

As always, volunteer help with field improvement/maintenance is always needed and greatly appreciated. Almost all of those tasks are also social distance friendly too!
