Program Overview: The Pre-Academy program is an extension of our recreational program and the goal is to provide players with an opportunity to develop their soccer skills in a fun, game-based environment. The program follows a structured curriculum led by coaches and supported by volunteer coaches. Players will train twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays, to improve their skills while making new friends. Every third training session will consist of in-house games, eliminating the need for travel. This program is made for the parent who need a structure schedule going into the recreational season and for players who want to train more than 1x a week.

Training Schedule: This eight-week program provides additional training opportunities for players on Mondays and Wednesdays at Laurel Point. Players will be grouped based on skill level, rather than age, to ensure each participant receives personalized development. During training sessions, players will rotate through various stations, and for in-house games, we will organize a round-robin format, allowing players to experience different challenges and environments to enhance their learning and growth.

Game Schedule: Games will begin after the first week of training and will take place every third session, either on Monday or Wednesday. All games will be small-sided, in-house matches that focus on providing more touches on the ball and supporting holistic player development.

Note: Space is limited, and the groups are co-ed. Please ensure your child is equipped with the necessary gear and maintains a positive attitude for a rewarding soccer experience. We look forward to a fun and successful ten weeks of skill development and game play!

We are looking for volunteer coaches to assist with this program. It's easy to get involved! Each session is pre-planned, so your role will simply be to provide direction and guide the kids through the activities.
