Saturday, February 3 - Emmaus Baptist Church
Due to number of players and spots available in the Major Division, there will be players who registered for Majors that will NOT be drafted, thus placing them on a Minors team. The same thing will apply for those who registered for Minors that will NOT be drafted to Minors thus placing them on a Coach Pitch team. Differences in division amount will be noted by Treasurer and correct payment options will be determined.
TEE BALL: If you have registered your child for Tee Ball, no further information is needed at this point as your child will NOT need to attend evaluations. You will hear from a Manager in mid-February for practices to begin at the end of the month. If you are able to help out as an assistant coach or team mom, please make sure you let your manager know once you find out your team assignment! If you would like to verify your uniform size, you can come to Emmaus Baptist Church on Saturday, February 3rd between 8am – noon OR Wednesday, February 7th between 5:30-6:15 to verify with the sample jerseys we will have on hand. Otherwise, the size noted on your registration form will be used for the uniform order. T-BALL PLAYERS DO NOT NEED TO ATTEND EVALUATIONS.
JUNIOR & SENIOR BASEBALL: If you have signed up for Junior or Senior Baseball, you are in a holding pattern until the end of February with High School tryouts. Online registration continues to be open or e-mail us at [email protected] if you’d like to register in person. We work around HS games as much as possible so players can definitely play both!! There will be tryouts in early March to split up the Junior teams. Be on the lookout for additional information!
COACH PITCH, MINOR AND MAJOR BASEBALL/SOFTBALL: The bulk of the information will pertain to you as your child will attend player evaluations at Emmaus Baptist Church on Saturday, February 3rd

FOR PLAYER EVALUATIONS at Emmaus Baptist Church on Saturday February 3 (Makeup Wednesday, February 7):
· PLEASE arrive during your assigned time slot window below and please make sure you read ALL information below.
· Your child will need to bring tennis shoes, a bat, glove, and a helmet. NO CLEATS. Please make sure you dress appropriately as we are indoors (shorts/athletic pants, etc.)!!
· Our goal is to keep the players moving so they *should* be in and out within 15-20 minutes (but we ask for your patience if there are delays during busy times).
· All parents will be asked to remain in their cars (outside the gym) or check out the player exit door area for uniform sizing and our “PLL Gear Up” equipment donations. The players will enter through one end of the gym and exit through the other to keep the flow going.
· For Majors Division Registrants, even if you played on a Majors Division Team last Spring, you are still strongly encouraged to attend evaluations as we have new Managers and all teams are re-drafted every year.
*IF YOU HAVE NOT PREVIOUSLY PLAYED ON A MAJORS DIVISION TEAM DURING THE SPRING SEASON, YOU MUST ATTEND ONE OF THE TWO EVALUATION SESSIONS TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE MAJORS DIVISION DRAFT (UNLESS EXTREME CIRCUMSTANCES ARISE, IN WHICH CASE, PLEASE INFORM US IMMEDIATELY).
· THERE IS A LIMITED NUMBER OF PLAYERS THAT CAN BE DRAFTED TO MAJORS TEAMS BASED ON THE NUMBER OF REGISTRATIONS AND LITTLE LEAGUE RULES, SO IF YOU ARE NOT DRAFTED TO A MAJORS TEAM, YOU WILL BE DRAFTED TO A MINOR LEAGUE TEAM. BASED ON OUR NUMBERS, THERE WILL BE SOME PLAYERS WHO REGISTERED FOR MAJORS THAT WILL HAVE TO PLAY MINORS AND THERE WILL ALSO BE SOME PLAYERS THAT REGISTERED FOR MINORS THAT WILL HAVE TO PLAY COACH PITCH (BASED ON NUMBERS AND AGES).
· While there is not a formal draft in the Coach Pitch division, Coach Pitch players are still evaluated to ensure even / fair team placement (and whether or not they would benefit from another season in T-Ball).
Times for Saturday, February 3 are below. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SHOW UP AT EXACTLY THE START OF YOUR TIME SLOT. We are hoping to stagger as much as possible. We will be taking players in groups throughout the time frame allotted for each division and there is no benefit to being in the first group:
8:00 - 8:45 - Players who registered for MAJORS BASEBALL
8:45 - 10:00 - Players who registered for MINORS BASEBALL
10:00 – 11:15 - Players who registered for COACH PITCH BASEBALL
11:15 – 12:00 - Players who registered for MAJORS SOFTBALL
12:00 – 12:30 - Players who registered for MINORS SOFTBALL
12:30 – 1:00 - Players who registered for COACH PITCH SOFTBALL
If you cannot attend on Saturday, February 3 – Make-Up Tryouts are on Wednesday, February 7 – all divisions of Softball at 5:30pm / all divisions of baseball at 6:00pm (also at Emmaus Baptist Church). **Please let us know if you are unable to attend evaluations on Saturday, February 3 so we can prepare accordingly and annotate in our notes.
