Playing Experience:
Growing up in Northern Virginia, Ryan played for several clubs throughout the beltway area. Ryan went on to play at Syracuse University where he was a four year starter. Following college Ryan was drafted by the Syracuse Salty Dogs of the A-League and the Cleveland Force of the Major Indoor Soccer League. Ryan played three seasons in the A-league for the Syracuse Salty Dogs and the Rochester Raging Rhinos, as well as eight seasons in the MISL for the Cleveland Force, Chicago Storm, California Cougars, New Jersey Ironmen and Syracuse Silver Knights.
Ryan led the MISL in blocks in five out of his eight seasons accumulating several league honors and multiple defender of the year awards. Ryan retired from playing in 2014 after suffering a broken back which required surgical repair. In 2016 Ryan was inducted into the Herndon High School Hall of Fame.

Future Accomplishment:
Ryan is passionate about coaching and the development of all players. Ryan holds the only U.S. licensed futsal league/organization in the Syracuse area. He is hoping to one day bring national championships in three sports to the upstate NY area (SDA ’02 girls, Utica City FC, and Syracuse Futsal). He currently lives in Liverpool with his dog Deacon Jones.
