Kindergarten Recreation Program
MSI offers its popular recreational program for Kindergarteners with an emphasis on fun-based games and skills development. Children are formed into groups that are based on school communities to the extent possible, and do not play an organized league schedule. They also do not have practice during the week. Rather, each Saturday involves small group training/skills development games, led by an MSI staff coach, followed by informal small-sided game play. These activities are designed to promote individual skill development and enjoyment of the game, with a top level objective of many smiling faces!
REGISTRATION FOR THE SPRING 2023 KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM IS NOW OPEN!!
The registration fee for the Spring 2023 Kindergarten season is $85 for 5 sessions. TO REGISTER, please use the login button on the upper right hand corner of the website.
ANYONE WHO REGISTERS AFTER MARCH 29, 2023 will be added to groups on a space available basis.

The Kindergarten Program is held at central Montgomery County locations. Specific field locations, group assignments, and season schedules will be announced about two weeks prior to Opening Day.

Time Commitment
The kindergarten program meets for five Saturdays. The time commitment for the Kindergarten Program is for one (1) hour on Saturdays, with start times typically ranging between 9:00am and 12:30pm (with start times on the hour and half hour). It is important to note that your child's group will have varying start times within that stated time frame each week. The format is 15 minutes of free play, 15 minutes of a fun-based activity to teach a skill, and 15 minutes of fun-based game play all led by an MSI Staff coach,
Group Formation
Group assignments will be finalized and posted on this web page approximately two weeks prior to opening day. Kindergarteners are formed into groups based upon their current elementary school, unless otherwise requested in the registration. If you'd like for your Kindergartener to play with a particular friend, please indicate that in the "group request" field in the registration.
Uniforms, Equipment
All Kindergartners should wear proper soccer attire, which includes shin guards and cleats (or regular tennis shoes). Each player should bring a size 3 soccer ball, a water bottle, and a great big smile on their face! Players will receive a jersey upon arrival for the first session, and they will wear that jersey for both the Fall and Spring seasons.
Withdrawals and Refunds
To withdraw from the MSI Kindergarten program, please send an email to [email protected] with the header "Withdrawal". Include in the email the following information:
- Name of the child being withdrawn
- Age group of the child being withdrawn
- Reason for withdrawal
Refund requests received by February 28, 2023 will be assessed a $15 administrative fee. After February 28, 2023 there will be no refunds for Spring 2023..
