2023 Fall Softball Information
 Fall Ball at the J is for players entering 1st - 8th grades 
Registration may be for a specific team or as a free agent.  Teammate requests are accepted at the time of registration.  Registration opens May 19. Games begin in last weekend in August and the season concludes by late October depending on weather.  Games will be scheduled at the Jewish Community Center.

Machine Pitch format is used for the 1st/2nd grade division.  3rd and 4th graders may choose between JR34 (machine pitch) or SR34 (kids pitch). Player pitch is used for all 5th-9th grade divisions.  Team equipment and a practice field are provided.  

 Fall Ball Uniforms 


Teams will use their Spring/Summer team jerseys and hats for the Fall.  Returning players do not need to purchase a new uniform even if changing teams unless they need a replacement (lost, size change, etc.).  Those that did not play J Softball in the Spring/Summer will need to purchase their uniform for the fall during the registration process.

 Schedule

Registration opens May 19.
Games will begin the last weekend of August and the season will conclude by the end of October.  Games are played Friday-Sunday.  Coaches will be able to submit blackout dates when their team is not available for games.

Registration and Fees

JR Divisions $160 or $105 with the J member discount (players use jerseys and hats from Spring/Summer League; new players pay a $25 uniform fee)
SR Divisions $170 or $110 with the J member discount (players use jerseys and hats from Spring/Summer League; new players pay a $25 uniform fee)

A $20 late fee is assessed beginning August 1

Softball Skills Development for 3rd-5th graders and 5th-8th Graders (5th graders may choose their level)

For the  player who desires to advance their skills, The J offers a program featuring quality, consistent coaching with weekly training sessions.  Coaches will provide position specific skill training as well as instruction on hitting, fielding, and base running.  5th graders that are intermediate level and above are encouraged to register for the 5th-8th grade division.

Fall Session:  August 28 – October 30 (does not meet on September 4th or 25th)
Mondays 5:30  - 6:45 (3-5th graders) and 6:45 - 8:00 pm (5th-8th graders) - J's Outdoor Turf Field Complex

Player Fee
$150; with J membership $100

Fall Softball Pitching Clinic 

Former softball pitching star will be providing a clinic for new pitchers (5:30 - 6:45) and advanced pitchers (7;00 - 8:15) on Tuesday nights in the month of September for kids in grades 3 through 9.
