PROGRAM SPECIFICS
Our Premier Program is for players who are passionate about the game of soccer and have a desire to Become Better.
For the younger age groups (U7 – U14) teams typically compete in both the fall & spring seasons. Pre-season starts at the end of July, the fall season runs from August – October or early November, and the spring season from the beginning of March through the end of May. Our older teams, (U15 – U19) are comprised primarily of players who play high school soccer in the fall and therefore compete in the spring season only.
During the winter months, all SP Premier teams also do mandatory indoor training. As part of the program, premier teams do 4 - 5 weeks of indoor soccer training at Resolute athletic complex in Easton, as well as 6 – 8 sessions of strength and agility training at a local gym.
In addition to on-field training sessions, our coaches will routinely utilize the conference room in our academy office to have whiteboard sessions as well as video review sessions with their teams to enhance the tactical awareness of our academy players.
THE SP PREMIER PROGRAM
The SP premier program is open to U7 – U19 Boys & Girls of all skill levels. Through quality coaching, we strive to ensure that every player that passes through our academy, is a much better player when they leave our program than they were when they entered it. As passionate coaches, our focus is on the overall development of our members not just as soccer players but as individuals as well. At SP we believe in the core values of “Respect, Commitment, & Integrity”.
We may love to win, but our primary objective is to teach our players how to play the game the right way.
COMMITMENT/EXPECTATIONS
Our primary objective at SP is to help our players to become better. Consistent training is necessary to achieve this objective. Therefore, players are expected to attend all training sessions.
Attitude is also extremely important. SP Players are expected to show up each day ready to train. We want our players to enjoy themselves and build strong friendships with their teammates. However, when it is time to train, we expect them to be fully focused, have a positive attitude, and work hard to improve themselves and their team.
Most importantly, all SP players are expected to always demonstrate respect for the game. This means conducting themselves with decency on and off the field, always demonstrating good sportsmanship, and always having respect for their opponents and referees.
