All Star Teams -- Official road to the Little League World Series!

Painesville Little League is a sanctioned league and proud member of the official Little League International organization, representing Ohio District I. As such, PLL charters All Star teams in the Minor, Major and Junior Divisions who play for the regional finals and state tournament.

TEAM SELECTION:  Teams are selected by league coaches in June. Coaches select the most well-rounded athletes from the league to represent PLL at the District I Tournament. Players must already be a part of a PLL team in order to qualify for the All Star team.

PRACTICES begin in June.

GAMES are held at several locations within District I beginning in July. District I teams include Painesville, Perry, Madison, Jefferson, Grand Valley, and Geneva. The tournament is double elimination. The winner qualifies to play at the State Tournament. Majors who win the State Tournament qualify to play in the Regional Tournament and the winner will then play in the Little League World Series, the only one of its kind.
