**Important Parking Information at Marcoux and Middle School Gyms**
There have been many incidents involving emergency vehicles and buses unable to drive in and out of the Middle School Gym parking lot (located off of Melrose st) due to vehicles illegally parking in the lot.
On the weekends and even on some week nights, this parking lot can get very busy and result in limited parking. We understand that everyone wants to be close to the doors especially during the winter time, but please DO NOT park illegally and make sure that you are actually parked in a spot. This means no parking along the school in the fire line, along the median turnaround just outside the gym, or anywhere that is not clearly marked as a legal parking spot.
If unable to find parking, there are plenty of spots in front of the High School and Middle School.
Please keep this in mind when looking for a spot. In the event of an emergency, vehicles that are illegally parked can play a negative role in first responders being able to do their job.
