Coerver Skills Training Camp

Ages: 5-26

Dates: May 27-August 16, 2024

Times: M-F 8am-2pm (others available)

Typically sessions are 2-3 hours in duration Monday-Friday between 8am and 11am (later sessions available depending on demand). For additional times. Text/Call Coach Simon at (260) 797-1127

($1200 unlimited access to camps for 1 player: 12 wks of camp at 5 days per week is up to 60 sessions of 2 to 3 hours of training available to pick from, add additional siblings (from the same family) for $600 more). Max family cost is $1800)

Location: Picazo Field (8949 Brooks Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825)  

Description: Coerver Skills Camps place an emphasis on individual skill development and basic moves with the goal of developing confidence on the ball. Beginning “move sets” are taught and games are played to practice the moves in a method that starts with no pressure and slowly adds the pressure of time and/or space restrictions. Passive defensive pressure is added by the end of the first morning and players are performing moves under full defensive pressure to goal. First touch is a major theme in Ball Mastery sessions.

Total Sessions: (11 sessions=22hrs for $500) (or 23 sessions=46hrs for $1000)

Cost- $500 or $1000

Includes:

•2 hour sessions of technical training. Unlimited time frame for making up any missed sessions. Can be used for any scheduled Coerver Session Time.

Coerver Fort Wayne Center of Excellence 2023-2024

The Center of Excellence program is designed to allow players to find their own brand of soccer. Each session is 2 hours and will allow the player to grow as an individual as they are learning how to become a better role player for their team. 

During the program we will show how we truly care for each and every player. We will allow players the freedom to explore their game with no retribution for failure, in fact, we challenge players to make mistakes as they build their own style of play. The program is based on each individual so we allow each player to understand it is about their growth, regardless of who else is around. There is no responsibility to a team, so players can become revitalized psychologically in a pressure free environment geared on a culture of 'serious fun'.

The Center of Excellence overview-

• The Center of Excellence is a technical development program for youth soccer players that is brought to you by Coerver® Coaching,"The world's number 1 soccer skills teaching method.”

• Coerver® Coaching COEs operate around the world with the aim of maximizing each player's development. This is achieved by providing each player with a market-leading player package that has been designed to maximize the technical, physical, psychological and social development potential of each player.

• The program is delivered using professional coaching, age-specific technical and physiological programs, top-class facilities and an extensive support program on and off the training field.

• Our aim is to develop confident and creative players while teaching essential social skills such as good sportsmanship and respect, in addition to a good attitude to practice and play. Every Center of Excellence session follows the Coerver Pyramid. This means every session would include ball mastery, passing and receiving, 1v1 attack + defense, speed, finishing, and group play. The pyramid consists of 6 building blocks that is designed as a foundation for players to follow. Each block has dozens of games and training exercises for all ages and experience levels. The Pyramid Approach, combined with the Coerver Coaching philosophy, allows players to quickly gain confidence and progress through the interconnected levels of the game. Each step is integral to the others and player improvement is achieved as their techniques improve at each level! Our focus is strictly to develop the individuals technical (skills), physical (athleticism) and cognitive (decision making) abilities, the same abilities taught within world class organizations such as Barcelona and Manchester United. Description: Our Center of Excellence Program works with individuals and small groups of players to train them in 160 soccer skills and to develop Sense, Skill, Speed, Strength and Spirit as we develop them in their own unique soccer style. We improve individuals starting where they are and help them improve in every area of their game, one session at a time. A coach will speak with your player during and after the session to help guide them on the things that they can improve on and to help advise them on how they can work at home and in conjunction with other players to master their game!
