Coaches:
All SVFC recreational coaches are volunteers with the opportunity to be professionally trained, and many are licensed through United States Soccer Federation or United Soccer Coaches.  Although we prefer it, no experience is required.  At SVFC, coaches are provided with the tools to succeed.  We offer numerous coaching clinics, pay for licensing, host informational meetings, provide age specific curriculum, and conduct SVFC Staff led sessions in order to educate both the coach and player.  All coaches go through a state and national background check.  If you would like to volunteer and become a member of the St. Vrain FC team, register as a coach when you register your child.

What:
We offer both fall and spring 8-game seasons in both a boys and girls league.  Girls may choose to play in the boys league as long as they want to, and just need to make the request while registering.  The cost per season is $95.  All players wear the St. Vrain FC Nike In House jerseys available from soccer.com. Players must wear shin-guards covered by socks. Shorts or pants without pockets are fine, and either soccer or another type of athletic shoe is acceptable as long as they do not have the front toe cleat.

Teams play 3v3 without goalkeepers, without referees, practicing one day per week, and one game day per week.  Practices sessions are led by your volunteer coach.

All players receive a minimum of 50% playing time in the game.  We do our best to honor special requests, trying to place kids on teams in their part of town or school when possible.  If requesting to play with another registrant, please be sure both kids request each other.
