Volunteer Registration Instructions

Volunteers are the life blood of AYSO. Please volunteer to help us fulfill our vision to provide world-class youth soccer programs that enrich children's lives!

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. There are two ways to start the volunteer registration process. One is to complete volunteer registration after e-signing your child's soccer registration form. You will be taken to the volunteer position selection screen. Go to step 2.

If you do not register as a volunteer while completing your child's registration, you can register at a later time by logging back in to your Blue Sombrero account. Please make sure you are on the new registration site (http://ayso.bluesombrero.com/region183), which has a gray color scheme. If you try to register on the current site (with the blue background), no programs will show as available for registration!

Once you are logged in, you can either click the "Volunteer" button on the left or the "Volunteer Opportunities" button at the top of the page:



2. At the position selection screen, choose a role, then click continue at the bottom of the page, then click "Continue". You may choose multiple roles. (We always need more coaches and referees! Training is free!)



3. Confirm you wish to volunteer for the role:



4. Complete the volunteer information form. Note that at the references section there are two references to complete. The first reference is a work reference. The second reference is a personal reference that is different than your work reference.

5. Proceed to the electronic signature page. You must check the "I agree to use an electronic signature" box and select the FIRST radio button as an adult, then type your name as your "signature":



Please print out a copy of your signed volunteer application to bring to the April 1 registration event. You may print out a copy of the form by going to the "Volunteer" tab on the "My Account" page:
