Welcome to Sun Prairie Youth Baseball!

SPYBAS has adopted little league birthdate guidelines for 2019.

Baseball program eligibility depends mostly on your child’s birth date.

When you register and enter your child’s specific birth date, the website will determine which programs your child is eligible for provide you with appropriate choices.

Teams play 2 games per week on average once games get started, and league practice schedules dependent on coach availability to schedule practices - once games get started, practices may be less frequent.

Games are typically held during the week with one season-ending tournament -- weekend play is minimal, if any.

League practices will start mid-April once teams are set.

This program is led by volunteers, and volunteer coaches are key - please be sure to volunteer to coach, or the program may not survive without you.

Cleats/Equipment:
Baseball leagues only allow plastic cleats except for Juniors Baseball which allows metal cleats.  Parents use their own judgment on enhanced protective equipment such as face-masks, sliding pants, or other apparel/equipment that may be purchased on your own.

Bats: New baseball bat regulations will be in effect for the 2019 season for all of youth baseball.  Any 2 1/4” barrel bat is acceptable for league play. Any 2 5/8” barrel bat needs to have the USA Bat stamp. No other bats are allowed for league play.
