Recreational Site Coordinator

The ideal Recreational Site Coordinator (RSC) is a friendly individual who is excellent communicating and teaching both adults and children.  This person has a high standard for both ethics and professionalism while maintaining a good sense of humor and enthusiasm.  The RSC must exude compassion, patience, and sensitivity while working with all players, parents, and referees.  The RSC will work to ensure the St. Vrain FC game-day environment is positive to ensure continued growth and development of all players within St. Vrain FC.

RSC reports to Recreational Director of Coaching

Major Task Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:

• Assist with Field set up and break down

• Provide assistance and guidance to referees

• Know St. Vrain FC (SVFC) in-house laws of the game and step into referee if needed

• Have accurate field layouts and game day schedules

  • Assist members as they arrive with finding their fields

• Conflict resolution

  • Attempt to diffuse any and all volatile situations

  • Assist Recreational Directors of Coaching with conflict resolution follow up

• Be knowledgeable in SVFC policies and programs in order to answer questions accurately

• Attend preseason coaches meeting(s) with the Recreational Director of Coaching

• Submit weekly game-day synopsis via email to Rec. DOC

Schedule

• Part time: Max 6-10 Hours/week Seasonal

• Hours (estimate) 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

• Saturdays - Spring

• March 11th-May 13th

• Saturdays - Fall

  • September 9th-November 4th

Preferred Candidates will possess the following requirements:

• Soccer Playing or Coaching experience

• Bachelor's Degree or higher

• Able to lift and carry 30 lbs.

• Valid Driver’s License and vehicle to move between parks freely
