TOPGLLSB Annual Meeting & Board Member Elections

Town of Poughkeepsie Girls Little League Softball (TOPGLLS) will hold its Annual Meeting on October 17, 2018 at 7:00pm at the Town of Poughkeepsie Senior Center located at 14 Abe’s Way in Poughkeepsie.

All are invited to attend for a review of the past year and share feedback for the coming year.  

The purpose of this meeting is to elect the Board of Directors for the coming year.  We are seeking new board members.  Volunteers are the heart of successful Little League organizations – please consider stepping up to help!  All positions will be open to general election. No prior experience is required.  Once board is elected, the board will convene to determine the specific positions for each board member. 

To be eligible to vote in the board elections, you must be a member in good standing of TOPGLLSB.  Members of the league include current managers, coaches, board members, and volunteers recognized by the board and have completed the required Little League background check.

If you are unable to attend the Annual Meeting on October 17th, you may request an absentee ballot from acting Board Secretary Dee Holt.  Please contact her at [email protected].  The ballot must be submitted in a sealed envelope no later than Tuesday, October 15th. 

We are excited for the year ahead!   We hope you will consider volunteering to make it the best year yet and we look forward to seeing you at the Annual Meeting on October 17th.
