Pitching Guidelines

McHenry Baseball Association fully supports the PitchSmart guidelines mentioned below. Player safety is imperative and we recommend all coaches and parents are aware of these guidelines to save our players' arms!

Days of rest are measured in calendar days, not 24 hour periods. If a player throws 55 pitches on Wednesday, which requires 2 days rest across all age groups, they are not able to pitch on either Thursday or Friday, but could pitch again anytime on Saturday.
