NC Fusion/GUSA Juniors Discovery Program

NC Fusion/GUSA Discovery Program

Overview:

North Carolina Fusion’s Junior Discovery Program is designed to support and guide players who wish to begin the transition from recreational to competitive soccer. The program is tailored for players who have a strong desire to increase their technical skills while also learning more about the tactical aspect of the game. In addition, the Junior Discovery Program will provide exposure and an introduction to our Junior Academy staff and Directors.

The most important aspect of North Carolina Fusion’s Junior Discovery Program is training. Technical and tactical training is provided 2 times per week, in 1 hour sessions by our professional coaches who will also coach the team in all matches. Junior Discovery Program teams compete in the GUSA Recreational League on Saturdays and Sundays. Players are also expected to work at home on basic technical skills such as juggling, receiving, passing, etc.
