Seasonal Positions

Fields Coordinator: DC Stoddert Soccer seeks a committed team player to manage our soccer field preparations and maintenance. The Fields Coordinator role is a great opportunity for a self-directed hard worker who is available on a somewhat flexible schedule. Responsibilities include:

  • Weekly soccer field lining (painting) tasks during Fall and Spring playing seasons (about 10 weeks each), covering approximately 9 field areas.
  • Some weekly soccer goal management at select field sites. May involve drop off and pick up of portable goals and / or setting up portable goals, typically drop off is late on Fridays or early on Saturdays and pick up is later on Saturdays.
  • Occasional light field or goal maintenance during playing seasons.
  • Logistical support for the Winter Futsal program that plays on Fridays, Saturdays, & Sundays

The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, owns a reliable vehicle, is available during some in-season weekdays during the daytime (ideally from mornings through mid-afternoons), and some on Saturdays, and is a highly communicative team player. Interest in youth sports / soccer is a plus. A typical week's work is estimated to take about 15 to 20 hours, broken up over several days during each week. This is a valued position that has growth potential for the right candidate. Please send your resume and a letter stating your interest & suitability to Justin.
