Dear Parents of a Soccer Player,

Welcome to BAYSO.  Please keep this paper.  It contains most of the information you will need.

Meet and Greet Day where you will meet your child’s coach and your child will meet the team. Your coach or division commissioner will schedule this. See our Meet and Greet tab for more information. Please write down any information you receive regarding the coach, phone # and team name.

Games are played on Saturdays. The first game is May 7th  And the last is June 25th All games are at the west end of Seaside Park. The schedule of the game times and practices will be given to you.

Uniforms are a reversible jersey black, white and red. The cost is $29.50 and can be purchased online, see our uniform tab for the link or in person by visiting Soccer Post 1887 Black rock Tpke Fairfield #203-332-7300. Please order early, it can take up to  6 weeks to fill an order. Children on the U5 teams do not need uniforms.

Cleats or soccer shoes are not necessary, sneakers are fine (NOTE: if you have  cleats that you no longer need, please bring them to the registration table Saturday mornings and we will recycle them to another player.)

Shin guards are a requirement in order for all children to play or practice.

If you have a ball, please bring it to practices but do not bring it to the game because it is not needed and may be lost.

Water (not juice) should be brought to practices and games.  Juice and sugar drinks attract bees,

Jewelry should not be worn to practices and games, which includes beads, hard hair clips and earrings.

Medical problems:  Parents of players with asthma, serious allergies, (bee sting) or other medical conditions which may require emergency attention should be present at all games and practices.  Coaches are not permitted to administer medicine.

The BAYSO Playing Fields are a SMOKE FREE ZONE.  Please DO NOT smoke at games or practices.
