Definitions of divisions being offered:

BABE RUTH division/teams – All players, aged 14-15, and the 13-year old players who do not get accepted to the ELITE Club Ball team, in each local league will inter-league against each other, in the spring, in an effort to continue to advance their skill level and raise their game to the next level.   The BABE RUTH season will consist of approximately a 10-game regular season followed by an end of season tournament and will run from late March through Mid-May.

ELITE Club Ball division/teams – The top players in each age division will be given the opportunity to play against other Club Ball teams from around the valley, in the spring, in an effort to continue to advance their skill level and raise their game to the next level.   The ELITE Club Ball season will consist of approximately a 15-game regular season followed by a double elimination end of season tournament and will run from mid-March through Mid-May.  If a player wishes to play up and try out for an older team, it needs to be the consensus of the evaluators that said player be in top 5 for that upper team and be able to play a majority of the time for the upper team.

COMPETITIVE AAA division/teams – The top players, aged 11-12, in each local league will play against each other, in the spring, as part of a competitive division, in an effort to continue to advance their skill level and raise their game to the next level.   The COMPETITIVE AAA season will consist of approximately a 10-game regular season followed by an end of season tournament and will run from late March through Mid-May.

MAJORS Rec division/teams - All players, aged 11-12, who do not get accepted to the ELITE Club Ball teams or the COMPETITIVE AAA teams in each local league will inter-league against each other, in the spring, in an effort to continue to advance their skill level and raise their game to the next level.   The MAJORS Rec season will consist of approximately a 10-game regular season followed by an end of season tournament and will run from late March through Mid-May.

COMPETITIVE AA division/teams – The top players, aged 8-10, in each local league will play against each other, in the spring, as part of a competitive division, in an effort to continue to advance their skill level and raise their game to the next level.   The COMPETITIVE AA season will consist of approximately a 10-game regular season followed by an end of season tournament and will run from late March through Mid-May.

*Players at try-outs will be assessed, evaluated & determined by the CO-County Board, Local League Boards and along with members of our community that have unbiased opinions and do not have players in the league.

*Once the spring seasons start CO-County plans to have open workouts every Saturday (time/location TBD) for all players in the league (grouped by age) to continue to get advanced coaching and instruction and better prepare them for all-star try-outs etc.

*All-Star try-outs for summer baseball will be held toward end of April.  Our spring teams, will not necessarily be our summer all-star teams; this will be determined by this separate try-out period.

*CO-County plans to have multiple all-star teams for summer for each age division with the ability to have 2 teams from the same age division each qualify for State, if they so choose.
