Steve grew up playing soccer in the suburbs of Chicago, IL.  He competed collegiately at Northern Kentucky University, during which time he played club soccer for Sports Club (now Chicago Magic). Steve has been coaching soccer for the past 20 years at various levels, including Olympic Development, Classic, Challenge, and Recreation. He is currently playing in the over-40 league for PASL, and he and his family are supporters of Liverpool Football Club.  The soccer highlight of his year (2015) was taking his sons to see Chile play Uruguay in the Copa America in Santiago, Chile!
