Great American Cleanup

With the forecast of snow this weekend, of course I thought … spring hopefully will be here sooner rather than later.  I am sending this e-mail blast to past Great American Cleanup volunteers because Keep Perrysburg Beautiful needs your assistance again this year. Your group can take part in the nation’s largest organized annual cleanup, beautification and community improvement program—the Keep America Beautiful Great American Cleanup.

Last year, an estimated 2 million volunteers in over 12,000 communities like ours volunteered to pick up millions of tons of litter, renew hundreds of parks, plant thousands of community gardens, and beautify thousands of miles of community roadways, clean up rivers and more!  Keep Perrysburg Beautiful will once again be participating in the Great American Cleanup and we are seeking volunteers.

Your group has always been very supportive in these annual cleanup events. I am inviting your group to join in one of the listed cleanup days. The cleanups start April 6th and run through May 18th. Plenty of opportunities for everyone. I will provide gloves, bags, tools, safety vests, and water to participants.

Please let me know if your group will be joining us for this annual project.
