Player Performance Camps - (ages 8-18)




The Coerver® Player Performance Camps are the difference maker! They are player intensive training camps designed for serious competitive players. It is open to players (boys and girls) ages 8-18 *Players must be on a Competitive/ Travel or High School Level team to participate (No Beginners or Recreational Level players)

Typical Player Performance Camp Consists Of:

  • 4 to 5-Days in length
  • Testing in (6) soccer specific Tests
  • Electronic Testing 
  • Player Assessment (New Video Platform)
  • Coerver Training Shirts
  • Daily Competition Awards
  • Daily Team Tournament in the afternoons with a Friday "World Cup"
  • FREE Hydration through the Gatorade Hydration Series
  • Nationally & Internationally Licensed Coerver Coaches (no Club coaches!)
  • Professional identification for Worldwide International Academy Opportuinities

    Competitive 1v1. 2v2 and small group play are included in every training session. The importance of first touch and transitional play are stressed to help players "read" the game at a faster pace and react quicker. Advanced skills will be taught to help execute quicker play with transition into faster group/team play. Coerver Coaching is the World's #1 Soccer teaching program for one reason - RESULTS!  


    The Curriculum

    The Curriculum is based on the Coerver® Coaching revolutionary PYRAMID OF PLAYER DEVELOPMENT©and the PYRAMID OF MOVES© 

    The Pyramid of Player Development

    Ball Mastery: 1 Player 1 Ball. Ball juggling skills of increasing difficulty on the ground and in the air, developing quick touch and control in both feet.
    Receiving & Passing: Improving First Touch control on the ground and in the air and developing accurate and creative passing in the final third where time and space is limited.
    Moves 1 v 1: Learning to attack with and defend against game winning individual moves from the 42 move PYRAMID OF MOVES Curriculum.
    Speed: Improving your acceleration and reaction speed with and without the ball.
    Finishing: Focusing on technique and instinctive play around the goal and encouraging players to "take responsibility."
    Group Play: Improving small group play with an emphasis on Speed, Finishing and Fast Break Attack.

    The Building Blocks

    Changes of Direction: Cuts and chops to shield the ball and change direction against opponents in front, to the side, or behind.
    Stops & Starts: Stops and starts and changes of pace with the ball to beat opponents to the side.
    Feints: Foot and body feints with the ball to beat opponents in front or behind.
