Football and Cheer Uniform Care

Wash uniform in cold or warm water on delicate or permanent press cycle - NEVER USE BLEACH!  OxyClean (or similar cleaner) is the safest way to get your uniform clean without the harshness of bleach.

Pants and practice uniform can be placed in the dryer on a delicate/low setting.  The game jersey should be air dried, DO NOT PLACE in the dryer.

Helmet

Using a solution of hydrogen peroxide, thoroughly wipe down the inside of the helmet.  This is safe for a child's skin and the helmet.  You may also use Lysol Disinfectant wipes and/or spray the inside of the helmet with Lysol spray.  Clean the outside of the helmet with Windex.  Allow the inside of the helmet to dry thoroughly prior to use.

Regularly clean and disinfect surfaces and padding that make contact with your child's skin or hair to protect against ringworm, MRSA, flu, impetigo, common cold, etc....

Shoulder Pads

These are to be disinfected and deodorized using Lysol spray.  Allow time to dry prior to use.  Many players prefer to wear a tee-shirt under their shoulder pads because it's more comfortable on their skin.
