Fairbanks Youth Soccer Association (FYSA) is a not-for-profit Alaskan Organization, allowing tax deductible donations and contributions to the fullest extent of the law.
FYSA is organized to provide nonprofit, public, educational soccer development, competition, coaching licensing and training sessions, and player clinics. Players shall be registered and affiliated with the United States Soccer Federation (USSF). This registration provides limited liability insurance as well as secondary medical insurance for our programs and participants. FYSA elected leadership is comprised of a dedicated volunteer Board of Directors. The organization currently has a staff of one full-time Executive Director and various part-time staff throughout the year serving in roles such as referees, field crew workers, office staff, etc.
The Fairbanks Youth Soccer Association has two soccer field complexes, the Wilbur Street Soccer Complex, and South Davis Park, conveniently located directly across the street. These summer facilities are the property of the Fairbanks North Star Borough, leased to FYSA to manage and maintain. Our grass complexes are maintained each year entirely within our own program budgets, without any subsidies from taxpayers, the city or borough. In other words, our membership is what makes the incredible field complex possible. Winter programs take place indoors, inside school gyms rented from the FNSBSD.
