WOW FC Alums Represent CO

Zion Lander and Alec Vega will for the second year in a row represent Colorado at the US Youth Soccer ODP 16 Region IV Championships. Both players were selected to be on the 99 Boys team. The prestigious tournament will be played at the Reach 11 Sports Complex in Phoenix Arizona from January 7th to 10th 2016.

Zion Lander played for WOW FC for 10 years. From 5 till 15.
Alec Vega played for WOW FC for 5 years. From 10 till 15.

Congratulation guys, we are proud of you.

Unfortunately the tournament was interrupted by bad weather. The team was able to play only 2 game. They tied their first game against Alaska, 1 to 1. Zion Lander scored the lone goal for Colorado in the 47th minute. They lost the second game to Cal South 2 to 0.
